What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for developing accurate, competitive, and commercially robust estimates across a diverse range of electrical projects.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
– Reviewing drawings, specifications, surveys, and tender documentation
– Producing detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, subcontractors, and risk allowances
– Building competitive tender submissions and pricing schedules
-Engaging with suppliers and clients to secure the best commercial solutions
– Identifying value engineering opportunities and mitigating project risks
– Collaborating with our project managers, engineers, and operational teams to develop winning proposals
– Supporting our project handovers with accurate cost breakdowns and documentation
What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in speaking with estimators who bring a strong technical understanding of electrical installations and a commercial mindset.
You’ll ideally have:
-Experience in an Electrical Estimator role within the electrical, construction, facilities management, or energy sectors
-The ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
-Strong analytical and numerical skills
-Experience using estimating and cost-management software
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
-A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
