Theo Paphitis Retail Group

As the chosen lighting and electrical maintenance partner for Theo Paphitis Retail Group, Greenlite Group is responsible for looking after lighting at 315 Ryman Stationary, Robert Dyas, Boux Avenue stores across the UK.

The Challenge
Gloomy, under-lit areas not only affect a store’s atmosphere, and can also directly impact sales.

So, when Theo Paphitis Retail Group approached us for lighting and electrical maintenance at stores across the UK – we knew we could make a real difference to their bottom line.
The Solution
We devised a regular maintenance schedule that would keep all stores fully lit in the most efficient way possible. But planning maintenance visits at all 315 stores, was only part of the story. Replacing failed lamps can be a false economy if the lighting system itself is old or inefficient, so we followed a holistic approach to maximise efficiencies.

We looked closely at the lighting systems suggesting improvements which could be made, and flagging stores that required a high level of maintenance to investigate in more detail.

This data allowed us to present the TPRG management team with high-level guidance on a range of lighting and electrical efficiency challenges. We proposed a new, energy efficient LED solution that could help one store to save 59% a year.

We instigated regular dialogue with the TPRG team and 'call ahead' to each store to ask whether the visit is required. If there are no lighting or electrical faults then we postpone the visit. It’s simple, but it makes a big difference to the customer.
